About Us

our story.

In 1996, our family was blessed with a daughter, Miranda, who was born with Down Syndrome.  Miranda is a lover of music and dance, so we were always searching for new ways that she might participate in performing arts. She is the spirit behind this new endeavor as we strive to provide free activities for people with intellectual disabilities that spark creativity and create opportunities for expression through dance and song.

founder, executive director

I’ve always been involved in musical theatre and dance, and since my older sister has Down syndrome, I have grown up around and volunteering with programs like the Buddy Walk and Special Olympics. As I’ve grown older, I’ve witnessed an abundance of amazing programs for people with special needs, but not enough in the arts, which inspired me to start this organization.
